Is it Spring Where You Live? (With Lots of Pictures!)

Yesterday I set out with my camera to capture springtime. It's HERE (and my sinuses aren't happy about it). I paid for these photos dearly last night when my head felt like it was about to explode, but seeing them this morning (headache free), it was worth it! Here's a little glimpse of what spring looks like in Houston for those of you who don't live here.

These first six were taken at my parents' house.

These were taken at my parents' land. Last year we didn't have a good showing of bluebonnets due to drought, but this year they are thick!!


Yes, Indian paintbrushes ARE that blindingly bright. It almost hurts to look at them. But they're such an interestingly shaped flower!

    It makes me so happy to see all of the flowers and green. :) When my beau came this weekend, he was so thrilled about all of the green fields. Love all of your pictures!

    Those are gorgeous!

    Yes, our pear tree is flowering and I saw an iris among the daffodils. Sadly those flowers are already dying and I never got a photo.

    Wow, these photos are gorgeous! My parents' azaleas are already almost gone, but I need to go out in the country and see some of the wildflowers. So glad we have some this year!

    Oooh pretty! I live by the shore so it's like never spring here. It stays 50 degrees until the end of June then BAM it's summer. LOL

    I just finished Spellbound and was wondering if you read it yet. I want to know what you thought.
